Our Team
Mary Crutchfield
PMHNP-BC, FNP-C, CHP
I’m Mary Crutchfield, founder of Leva Psychiatry. I specialize in helping people move through trauma, reconnect with their bodies, and uncover the emotional patterns that keep them stuck — even after trying therapy or medication.
I’m a Master’s-prepared Psychiatric and Family Nurse Practitioner, trained in Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy, GoWithin Hypno-Breathwork, and sound healing. My approach blends neuroscience with deep inner work — guiding you to explore not just the mind, but the nervous system and subconscious.
Beneath many mental health struggles are repressed emotions, core wounds, and disconnection from the body. I believe we can heal. We can rewire the brain, come home to our bodies, and find new ways of relating — to ourselves and to others.
My own healing journey taught me that we don’t do this work alone. We heal through relationship, through co-regulation, and in spaces that feel safe enough to go deep.
I’m not your average psychiatric provider — and if we both feel that it’s the right fit, I’ll walk alongside you, not ahead of you. Together, we’ll do the emotional work. This is sacred ground, and I take that seriously.

My Philosophy
I believe mental health should be made a top priority and it’s important to work collaboratively with the individual to customize treatment modalities. I am committed to staying up to date with the latest treatments and enjoy the science of psychiatry and psychopharmacology.
Sonja McFadden
PMHNP-BC, FNP-C, CHP
Hi, I’m Sonja McFadden. I’m a board-certified psychiatric and family nurse practitioner, and I’m passionate about helping people heal in a way that honors the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. In my practice, I blend traditional mental health care, like evidence-based medication management, with holistic therapies such as hypnotherapy, Hypno-Breathwork, sound healing, and somatic therapy. I believe real healing happens when we address not just the symptoms, but the emotional, physical, and spiritual layers underneath.
Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, ADHD, autism, mood disorders, or disordered eating, I offer personalized support for children, teens, and adults. I partner closely with each person to find the right tools for them—sometimes that’s medication, sometimes it’s Breathwork or body-based therapy, and often it’s a combination that fits your unique needs and preferences.
I’m certified in clinical hypnotherapy, somatic therapy, and sound healing, and I use these modalities to help clients reconnect with their bodies, release stuck emotions, and build resilience from the inside out. My goal is to create a safe, compassionate space where you feel empowered, seen, and supported as you move toward healing and self-discovery.
Mental health isn’t one-size-fits-all. Together, we’ll find what works best for you—so you can feel more grounded, more whole, and more like yourself again. Let’s take that step forward together.
